Reviews and Ratings
Overall, I had high hopes for this resort, especially being a Wyndham Vacation owner. While the staff was friendly and the area quiet, the experience fell short in several important ways. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and condition of the rooms, particularly with the mold issue, were significant setbacks. The amenities were hard to access and not as advertised, which made our stay less enjoyable.
Staying at this resort was an absolute delight. The location is peaceful and offers breathtaking views, especially of the dolphins playing out in the water. While the rooms were a bit dated, they were comfortable and well-equipped for a beach getaway. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, but I did find the dining options limited and wished amenities were a bit easier to access. Overall, a great escape for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting.
My stay at the Wyndham was a mixed bag. While I appreciated the clean and well-maintained condos which were both spacious and updated, the check-in process left much to be desired. The staff were friendly, but the overwhelming sales pitch and poor communication felt off-putting. It’s a decent place for a relaxing getaway, but you might want to think twice if you value a seamless experience.
Our stay at Wyndham on Edisto Island was overall enjoyable and relaxing. The location is lovely, with a private beach area that offers great convenience for travelers. The room was spacious and adequately equipped, but the kitchen counters could use some organization, particularly for storing utensils. We did encounter a few cleanliness issues upon arrival. The staff was nice, but some amenities felt a bit too spread out, which made accessing them a bit tough. Overall, it's an affordable option for a family vacation.
Our family's trip to Edisto Beach was quite enjoyable, with lots of activities like miniature golf and tennis available year-round. The resort had a friendly atmosphere and a nice biking path for exploring the area. However, we were disappointed that the pictures led us to believe we’d be right on the beach, as we had to travel to reach the ocean. Overall, it was a decent stay but not as close to the beach as we anticipated.
